I have and H pipe welded up to mach 1 take off exhaust from a 2004 mach... Ive heard the mufflers are the same as the cobras and i like them i just dont think they are loud enough...give me some of your suggestions for new mufflers to weld up in there place... something louder but not droney and not too over-the-top.... i just wanna hear the exhaust when i put the pedal down

Man I love my mach 1 takeoff's..but whatever floats your boat. Turbo mufflers sound pretty good on a v6, I have a friend who has them on his and it sounds pretty good.

It's a very subjective opinion.

I have Magnaflows and really like them.

In my opinion Magnaflows will give you the best low toned rumble that most people love turbo mufflers are ok until you get to the high RPM's and then sound like a fart cannon

my flowmasters have about 5,000 miles on them(about a year old) and the dynomax i can't remember. they've been sitting in my garage for a couple years. the dynomax aren't very loud, so that's why i went to the flows but i'm tired of the tone.

I had an exhaust leak at the time...didn't help the tone any, they sound completely different now, nice and deep and low, I love it. They aren't quite loud enough for me...but I don't want the "hey, look at me, I'm speeding" mufflers around here, they just attract cops.

Jones mufflers on a v6 = . And right now everyone is thinking what are jones mufflers. Ask your muffler shop about 'em. They have a nice low rumble (especially for a sixer) and a gargle when you rev and decelerate. I've had many mistake me for a gt just based on my sound.

I don't get any crap from police for my car, then again, im almost one of them ...o/r x and 'packs a LOT louder than i had wanted...been looking at the steeda side exit possibly.

I liked my MAC catback i had on my v6, had a nice inbetween sound of the flows, and magnaflow, etc.

I thought it was funny, when I was picking out my exhaust I listened to sound clips. And I thought the MAC souonded better than the Borla. And it's about 500 bucks cheaper too.

I had turbo pack mufflers (little round mufflers that are not really a muffler) on my 97 v6, they were ok.... I wouldnt go that route... and also before I had a balancer pipe put in the sound was louder, so if yours is a tad loud, that little 30 buck expence may make it sound right.
