Parking decal problems solved

Ok, here's the story. The university decided this year to double the parking fee this year and make the decals 8x larger. I was pissed so I taped it to the inside of my window b/c it looks so fugly. They then changed the wording to where the decal must be "permanantly attached to the outside of the rear window in the lower left corner or to the left side of the rear bumper". My new solution was simply to tint over the decal, I think it turned out pretty good. May put one more layer of tint over it however, just to push the envelope so to say. Anyways, it's an idea for any of you guys that have to put up with this crap, I've had a few ppl ask me to do this to their's already. I see a small business forming out of this lol.

haha nice. UAB just has the hanging decal from the rear view mirror. I always take it off when I'm not in a UAB lot though.

Yeh well these pissed me off. I still think another layer of 35% is going over it. I tried some 2.5% I have laying around....but you couldn't even tell there was a decal under it lol

UAH has stickers. I never stuck it on my car after my second year. Didn't get any tickets for it, either. Got a UAH tag, now, so I won't have to worry about it when I go back for grad shit.

I tried for one day to not have a decal, got a ticket in under 2 hours, lurch found me.

Oh the ticket bitches here are horrible. My friend got a ticket last week, while he was in his car with the car cranked.

I apparently got a ticket last year and didn't know about it. I couldn't register until I paid it.

they give tickets here if you back into a parking space on a one way street.

^ That's ridiculous. Same friend that got a ticket while in the car got 3 tickets before he came back to his car for the same thing: parallel parking in the wrong direction on the street.

my gvsu one here just clings on to the lower drivers side windshield, so i just stick it on when im gonna be parking, then chuck it in the glovebox when i leave.

i have those stupid things here at UNA also... i dont stick em on I just throw mine up on the dash... they us ours for entrace into the parking deck.. which they leave open so its not needed....

I said screw it I'll just back into the spots in the middle. It has been working cause I haven't gotten a fine yet.

****Update****
Got a ticket today for "Improper Display".
The ticket was written at 10:59, off my record before 12:00.
I went to the parking services, went and found "Preacher" as they call him, the guy in charge.
Asked him to come outside and show my how my decal is improperly displayed.
He takes one look at it, says its on the inside. I say run your hand across that and try again. He asks what's on it, I say it's tint. He then proceeded to tell me I can't do that. I said go show me in the rules where it says that. He looks, can't find it, drops the ticket and tells me good job on finding a way around the rules lol.
