When it rains you can tell which people do not have a care in the world for their car. It is amazing to see all the cars going down the road with no water beading.
I have always waxed my cars no matter how old or run down they were. I may not have always washed them regularly but I made sure they had wax.

I haven't waxed mine in about a year or so....then again, it still beads like it is freshly waxed. lol

That is terrible.
I guess that is part of my point, if you wax a car at least once a year it does protect it. There have been times I have from time to time not waxed as ofter as I should, but I try. I used to wax my car about every month or two. Waxes have gotten so good every 6 month is more that fine.

Mine has about 15 coats of zaino on it...it doesn't come off unless you buff through it or sand the car. Even washing the car with dawn will not strip it. Beads like a freshly waxed car to this day. It's a beautiful thing. lol
However, I will be hitting the car with 2 or 3 coats tomorrow in prep for the show on saturday.

I'd wax my car if you could wax out dents, but it gets harder to care every time some asshole backs into a door or runs it over with a buggy at target. When I bought my new(used) car I washed, clayed, waxed, polished, etc, and not a week later someone demolished the front door. Fuck it. I only care about the paint enough to keep the fenders from rusting off before the engine goes. |

my grand prix dd doesnt really get waxed... the paint is pealing so no real point~ but the other cars due... and thanks cuz this reminds me my wife's car needs to be waxed... |

I don't know why but I have always waxed my cars and trucks regularly. My truck has peeling paint for the 2nd time but I still wax it anyway. I just thought most people did to. I guess I owe my son-n-law an apology,he also said he has never waxed his cars.

i havent washed my car since about this time last year lol. just never got around to it this year. my apartment doesnt allow it in the parking lot and ive always been iffy about taking it to those drive through ones (plus, they are so overpriced around here)

Here in NY there are only two days that are nice enough to wash, clean and wax my car - the spring and fall equinox. Between the fall and spring equinox it's cold and sometimes snowy; for the spring to fall equinox it's usually hot and humid out.

the woman i bought mine from took care of the inside but nt so much the outside fresh paint doesnt look good with faded paint even the spoiler is pealing

all my cars bead like no other. Hell one day my cobra was dirty as hell, it started raining hard on the freeway, and the rain ended up pulling all the dirt off the car on the freeway, i pulled into my garage and it was awesomely clean.

I haven't been able to wax my car for six weeks. Halloween marks the day I could wax it since my new paint. I need to get around to doing it. |
