front tags look like crap.... 100x better without it... some states require it... and its stupid.

its illegal in california, but ive been driving for 14 years and never been pulled over, and have never had a front license plate. i think its the kind of infraction they'll try to get you for if its 2am and they want to see if you been drinking, or if they pull you over for something else they might bring it up, definately worth the risk, its a 10 dollar fix-it ticket (at least out here).

Well here in Kansas you dont have to have a front tag, in Iowa you do. Im not in Iowa enough to justify having the POS on there... so I got rid of it. Ive been pulled over before in Iowa for it with my old car, its a 28 dollar fix it ticket... so if it comes to that I guess Im willing to pay...

No front tags in NC, not since I have been driving, and that is almost 40 years now, lol, never had em that I know of, but personally I am a fan of nice vaniety tags, lol. Have them on my truck, had them on all my recent mustangs, my 94 had no tag bracket on the front, just holes and they were threaded, same for the 99 I think. Dont' think the 86 had one either, lol. I also have a front vaniety tag on my Ram.

I understand where you're coming from, but personally I hate the way the 99 up mustang front looks with that molded in tag bracket. Hence the reason I'm trying to go with a bumper that doesn't have it.
