ok i'm looking for something that woud sound like a v8 gargle. right now i have mine sounding v8ish at WOT in a certain RPM range, otherwise it's pretty quiet w/ a very slight rumble, almost like a slightly bigger lift cam was installed.

current setup:
- true dual setup w/ turbo mufflers w/ 2.25" piping
- welded on, cut right before mid-pipe made the transition to a "y"

future setup:
- swap mufflers to something like flowmaster 50 deltas (whatever will sound least ricey, and most v8ish in high rpms, and a good idle rumble)
- 2 high-flow cats

no matter how hard you try it will never sound as good as a v8 sorry... keep it mellow toned and leave it be, taking the cats off and what not just makes it sound worse.

oh i'm leaving the cats on and all. just getting 2 high-flow ones to replace the 'real' cats

Flowmasters arent very good for performance. As long as your okay with the possible loss compared to your old exhaust then go with the flows.

I think they are some of the best sounding but so many people have them.
