Also anyone know where i can find some cool cobra r like tips..(stainless steel) for a good price? spintech is asking 150 per tip!

backpressure creates torque, but limits top end.
free flowing exhaust creates top end, but limits down low torque.
right now, up top, youre engine is starving for air. and the added drivetrain loss of a automatic isnt helping much. some p&p heads and upper/lower plenums ought to help out, possibly cams also. but youre still being held back by the auto. beef it up a little(shift kit, higher stall torque convertor) and it should beef it up a little. also a rear diff with higher gearset(3.73 or 4.1) would help out immensly with an auto.
btw your exhaust setup sounds fine. and i think i found some of those dual slanted round tips(cobra r style) on ebay once. btw do you have the roush side tips? id take them off your hands if your looking into different ones.

Naw, your fine. It's just out cars have 150hp from the factory.
Mine loses its pull after second. Just doesn't feel as fast.

2.25 pipe is what is needed, with side exhaust you may notice a little change but nothing major. I had dumps (same basic concept) and I didnt notice much difference. You have crappy gears and a slow shifting auto... that definatly hurts your performance. I would get some gears and see how that helps (4.10s and tlok unit, preferably an 8.8 inch rear end)

yes, your rear gears are killing you. You have 2.73's for stock gears, YIKES!!!! these are anything but performance gears. Also, get yourself an underdrive pulley, that'll free up some power for you as well.

eclipse dude i have 4 inch duals tips.. no roush ones sorry.. my ground clearance sucks! haha but i agree 2.73 gas milage rocks! although.. i have pretty meatty tires in the back.. so im sure thats not helping me nun.. 17 by 10.5 on some 275 pretty heavy compared to the regular rimz HAHA 15 TRIANGLES.. but how much would i be looking at if i were to upgrade gears? i mean i travel about sixty miles probobly twice a week on the free way? would 4.10s hurt my engine and or transmissioN? wont the rpm level be at 3500!? that'll kill my gas for sure! if not my car first.. also p&p heads opposed to ported intake manifolds which one would help me out more? the heads are like 1000 while the ported intake manifolds are like 2-3 hundred...
