need tire help asap

i have 2000 gt mustang v8 can i use 2001 v6 mustang 5 lugs stock rims and tire P205/65R15 can i just bolt them on my car.my car has 17 inch rims and tires suck in winter

You should be fine I store my 02 GT with my old 97 V6 alloy rims on the back. I think the 99-04 GT's and V6's use the same rotors. Your speedo may be off a little.

thanks 67 mustang i used all seasonal before but front tires being so wide acted like a plow causing the back tire to dig their own grave lol wish i had a winter beater. getting 15 inch tires tomorrow found them on graiglist for 200.00 buck i think a thinner front tire may help me threw the snow ma. winter suck thnaks again for your opinion

They will work, some 99-00 GT's came with stock 16 inch rims so do the math of your overall height (or just measure) and the 15's shoudl be about the same. The rims will bolt up and clear the brakes so that wont be an issue. You should be good to go.

thanks guys for you help i purchase 4tire 2001 v6 5lugs 15inch stock rim for 215.00 and their in mint condition tire have 10000 milles from graigslist will put them on when rain stops lol thanks again spectorv

if the rims are from an 05+ v6 you may have issues with back spacing but I think all 05 plus are 16s at least~ a spacer will fix any fitment issues if they are from an 05 up
