how much would 3.73 gears do on my 2000 v6 with a t-lok? i have a 5-speed and rpm bv heads and a new cam and x-cal 2 with a underdrive pulley and mac cold air intake with drag radials. the best i ran was a 14.2 at 99 mph. just curious if i could hit 13.5 with the gears and t-lok.

Not sure about that, but you cant go wrong w/ 3.73's on a stick.

If you still have the stock rear in your car the gears/tlok can knock off almost a second if I am not mistaken.
And yes, 3.73's are what everyone reccomends for 5 speed.

Being a 2000 you already have 3.27's so a 3.73 isnt a huge upgrade. Personally Id go with 4.10s, itll probably knock about .5 second off your 1/4.

expect 2.5 tenths off your times. 99 up mustangs (gt and v6) have 3.27 gears

from 3.27s to 3.73s you will gain about 0.3 in the 1/4mi.
From the 75 shot of nitrous, you should see about .9 off your ET. (depends on the brand though as some 75 shots are rated at the wheels, some at the crank)

if you start with 2.73 gears expect .4-.5 tenths, if you start with 3.27 expect .2-.3~

I took off 5 tenths with the gear change. I already had intake/exaust upgrades though. When I added n20, I put on the 100hp (crank) jets & took off 8 tenths. Then I put on the 150hp jets & took off another 7 tenths. Ill never put on the 150 ones again though.
