High RPM idle

I have had this problem the last couple of weeks. When i start my car, have it in neutral, or have my clutch pushed it, my rpms like to sit around 2000. It isnt always, just about half of the time and it happens more often when i start my car and when i am driving and then push in my clutch when i am stopping. There are no other problems with how the car runs. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas. Thanks!

clean the maf and air filter and reset the battery, remember to clean the air filter after two days and then again after 2 weeks.

it also could just be your brake booster, your brake booster goes into your intake manifold, the pressure in the intake manifold goes to the brake booster to help you with braking and when you put in the clutch the pressure in the manifold decreases because it goes to the brake booster. it also could be many other things as well.
