DO NOT USE C&L they are POS. Use PRO-M they are FAR FAR superior. My friends build is car and ran a C&L it was POS would barly idle... if not die. After the install of a Pro-M the car ran 100% perfect. I live like very close to the C&L main company... I wish they did make something worth using.

oh yeah, skip the MAF, the tuner will take care of it. You don't need a different maf until you have a power adder, at that point you should get a lightning MAF or a SCT big maf.

well the mac plenum is ported to 75mm already. i think the tb and plenum both at 75mm will be a nice combo in terms of airflow. and the TB spacer is like 30 bucks, so why the hell not? get it while the money aint mine.
the K&N FIPK are already 200 bucks, so why not for a few more have a 85mm tb? and how should a bigger maf but using the same electronics(the 85mm maf is just the housing, the electronics are drop in) run different?

k heres what i bought, took advice against a 85mm maf system, so went with the Demolet CAI system for 135$. still got the MAC Plenum(129$) and 75mm TB(125). then bought the Diablo Predator for 400.

i looked into both the diablo and sct, but i kept finding i liked the diablo better. it just sounded more, i dont know, like dsmlink without actually being dsmlink. it even has to where you can log and upload it into a pc program and look at it(much like dsmlink) and more effectively see what you need to do to the tune, rahter than look at numbers on a 1"x2" screen.
god if someone were able to make a dsmlink like program for a stang, i would be in heaven. imagine the ability to adjust airflow, VE tables, fuel(not just rpm based, but global(general) and injector dead time), timing, ability to log at up to 300 samples per second, and up to 20 different ecu values at a time, and log up to 6 hours of info(long road trip status), and the ability to save changes on the fly(while the car is in motion, in gear, driving) without having to pull over. as well as have 3bar map sensor inputs(for logging real pressure at the manifold, good for those boosted) and wideband o2 inputs(for 250 bucks and never having to go to a dynotune again). oh well, until i become a programmer and know what the **** all that above means, ill just have to keep dreaming.
wait a minute, you can get the source code for dsmlink. if someone knew how the ecu works, and could burn chips and **** to be able to use the dsmlink software(though modified for stangs) to control a stangs ecu, we would be in business.

the important thing is to find the nearest reputable dyno shop and ask them what they use, that will make dyno tuning much more simple.

the K&n thing looks bad to me, i would go with another brand... its not worth 200 bucks. I would get a chrome cai before i paid 200 for black plastic one (no diff in performance)
you can get what ever brand maf you want, C&l just suck
