what should be the next step?

i have a 1000$ cash and im wondering... what should come next...
should i buy a gt rear end and do a few suspension upgrades
should i buy new springs shock/strut sub frames and a racing chip
should i save a bit and buy a vortec kit new or used
right now i have dual exhaust/hpipe, and CAI thats all performance wise... so kinda help me out with your opinions
does it make sense to buy a chip before a rear end or if you later plan on a blower... becasue wont you have to reburn it for 70$
any websites would be helpful since all of "my favorites" were deleted with my computers memory.

detroit true trac for the 7.5. 4.10 gears. tune. install the gears and diff.

No no no..if you're gonna do gears, you might as well bump up to the 8.8, especially if you are planning on being blown later on. And as far as gears, unless you have a pre 99 5 speed you will need a chip to fix the difference. The small difference in price between a t-lok and gears plus install for the 7.5 and a 8.8 with the gears already installed is nothing in comparison to knowing you have a rear end that will handle the power later on down the road.

the weak link in the 7.5 is the spider gears, a detroit true trac will make the 7.5stronger than a ford 8.8 t-lok.

He will come out cheaper buying a 8.8 then having all that installed.

the trutrac is like 150 more than a ford t-lok for the 7.5 a 99+ 8.8 is going to cost him like 1 g to build.
350 for detroit true trac for 7.5
150 for gears for 7.5
200 install
___________
700 and you have a diff stronger than an 8.8 with ford t-lok.

i say get the 8.8 rear with 3.27s or 3.55s
just be sure you get one with low miles. try to find one out of a 03 or 04 gt

i had 4.10s in my v6 auto and loved it...
can't wait for 4.10s in the GT 5spd

alright now i have a legitmate game plan...
im taking my 1500$ that i scrapped outta everywhere and giving it to my dad this week to invest in a stock that he swears will go way up.. and b/c im taking intrest in the stock market plus it takes 2,500$ just to open a fidelity account; hes giving me a thousand to put in it....however, his money cant be removed to be spent on the car...
thus, im planning on going blown around xmas and taking 2k from the account for the super and i will have saved another 1000to1500 by then from working to use on the rear/chip/tune with miscel. **** like sub frames and sway bars-around 3500 total.that would cover a used kit....any opinions on used kits- or ebay?
i was also looking into the 4.2L idea.. i was thinking i would **** wiht lots of cars if i do a 4.2L swap +11psi... haha might run outta cash before i get there but its probably in the future this next summer
if i did go 11psi procharger +4.2L swap and rear with some bolt ons and whatever else.. could i beat my friends z28 LS1 procharged (5,5psi) camaro:?

good luck with the stock market thing. It ususally takes more then a couple months to make anything big and it's hard to know for sure about anything. but if he knows his stuff then that's cool.
I'm also fantasizing about doing the 4.2 and forced induc later on... I don't know about beating the camaro but your call will be bad ass none the less.
