Yeah, because we all know that the oil barrens haven't made enough money yet this year. This is just another excuse used to jack prices and **** the consumers over.

oh of course, same reason gas prices have gone up when katrina hit. An excuse for gas stations to use so they can get more $$

this is some serious bull****... I'm sorry, but $50 to fill a Mustang? They're gonna **** around enough until they **** up the economy, and then they won't be able to fix it.... God I hate dumb ****ers

Guys guys guys...it's all about supply and demand. We demand more, the supply is the same, the prices have to go up. If people would get smart, fill up their vehicles before this storm hits, take it easy on the gas, we would be fine after another storm.
But instead, people are gonna freak out, hoard the gas, and mess it up for the rest of us.
I swear, if I see someone at a gas station filling up a bunch of gas cans and they aren't from the coast, I'm gonna jump them.

this sucks. school starts next week and i have a 30 plus mile round trip Monday-fri... there aren't any busses or carpools so i have to rely on my car and pay whatever the price for gas is. I'm surprised that no body has hi-jacked a gas tanker yet. |

I thought about it the other day...guy pulled up to the gas station, then left the truck sitting there while he went inside and talked crap for about 30 minutes, and yes, the keys were in the truck and yes, I have driven a tanker like that before lol

just saw a video on CNN of I am assuming some place in texas, and gas was from 5.87 - 6.07

If you want to do your part to NOT crank the gas prices up, do this:
Don't Panic. It'll level off pretty quickly. Every industry knows how crazy you get whith your panic dollar.
Reduce your trips. this is common sense.
Tell people you know not to lose thier damned minds. It'll all be ok, and much faster at that if we all stay cool.

No dude... they didnt reveal in that article that President Bush is actually Japanese and he is working for the Japanese government and helping direct these storms to our most vital resources: Black people and oil.
