Alright guys i will be ordering a bodykit for my 99' black gt pretty soon! I was wondering which do you guys like the best? I was kinda leaning towards the Saleen but i really like the Roush sideskirts with the side exhaust! Would the sideskirts and side exhaust look funny with a Saleen bodykit?

It would because the Saleen rear bumper has exhaust cutouts, plus I always thought the the Roush and Saleen kits looked the best with all the same parts. To me, the car looks odd when you start mixing aftermarket parts like Saleen, Roush and Cobra.

I personally prefer the looks of the Roush body style better. Wouldn't you have to do some cutting of the Saleen side skirt if you want the side exhaust though?

I think he was talking about the Roush side skirts...they have the cutouts and side exhaust tips. But if he was talking about the Saleen skirts, then yes, there would be some major cutting involved.

OEM roush quality will be MUCH better than saleen, that in itself is enough for me to go Roush.

I'm a fan of no body kits, maybe switch over to the Cobra if anything.

I agree with that most of the time. I only like body kits if they're done right and aren't too "flashy". Most of the time when I see them around town they look like total ass.

IMO the 03/04 cobra stuff is the best you can do for 03/04, simple, mean looking, and fits the car well.

i like simple body kits. i think the roush body kit is perfect. its simple and completes the car.
but there are some wild lookin body kits out there... and i think they look absolutely ridiculous. immature is the first word that comes to mind.
and nothing screams toolbag more than a license plate that is purposely adjusted to be crooked.

Basically you're going to get a lot of different opinions since everyone has their own style. Besides any fitting issues and price, for instance, it's really whatever you like best to put on your car

with a body kit comes the need for rims since the kits are bolder the rims cant be the OEM ones else it will look out of place

Yah you definitely need some bigger rims...18's would probably look the best, since they are noticeably larger and would compliment the beefier body pieces, but certain 17's would suffice...03/04 cobra rims, FR500's, BBS RK's...any rim with a thick look/spoke, bullitts and the older cobras (94-98) look too small sometimes imo.
