from The Netherlands advise vortec or saleen

HI Guys,

I am new here

i am Ralph from The Netherlands and have an mustang 2005 gt automatic ,and want to have an supercharger .In The Netherlands there is only 1 company who can install it and the work with an vortec high output .
But a lot of people are saying that Saleen stage 2 brenspeed is better ?? is that really thru? is there really so much of turbo lag with the vortec ...? i am an normal driver sometimes street sometimes road racer....please advise me..

yes you will enjoy the saleen much more in my opionion.

the diffrence is a cetitrifical supercharger (vortec) vs a roots style supercharger (saleen).

The roots style gives you instant boost right off the line and the centrifical supercharges has to spin and then produces boost so there is a bit of lag.

go with the salleen stage 2 from brenspeed. and brenspeed is a good company as well.

you could do a hellion single turbo kit and make much more power/tq than a supercharger for the same amount of PSI. The kits do cost more~ but not a ton more. A turbo you can install on your own with some time and help from a friend. The TUNE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART AND MUST BE DONE BY A GOOD COMPANY. Re read that last sentence 3 more times please.

You can have a company do a remote dyno from anywhere in the world, you just need a dyno and a computer they can dial into and adjust your tune for you
