Alot of piping and some engine work to handle anything over about 6 psi.

what engine are we talking about?
having the parts is one thing, but youre going to need to have a lot of cutting, welding, and customizing done to get those parts on the car

in the end buying a kit that will bolt on will most definatly be cheaper unless you can fab it yourself. i wouldnt turbo a car unless the motor was build and ready to handle it.

Your car being a V6, and probably relatively stock, that turbo would be too big for your car
the 1psi=15hp is just one of those stupid generalizations, it depends far too much on the setup, the specific blower/turbo, intercooled or not, and everything else
a high compression engine, 1psi could be 15hp, while on a low compression engine, it could only be 6hp, there is no set number

TMAturbo kits are good for 19hp per pound on stock v6's. Stock, a ford 3.8 can handle no more than 11psi. 10 is the highest I would go. You'll probably end up spending more to get it to work than just buying a bolt-on. Especially if it's used, don't buy it.

19per PSI is because you V6 boys have high compression
i have 8.0:1 compression, run 18psi, and make around 200 at the wheels
