Upgrades for a v6 stang

Hellow fellows, i have a 01' v6 stang auto, I just wanted to ask on how to start upgrading my mustang??? what should i do performance wise????? any input would be greatly appreciated, thanx

This thread has a good guide to start you off with on mods. Just research parts, shop arounds, and ask here if you have any questions.

Stay away from Throttlebodies and MAF systems. They do no good on almost stock cars.

My first step would be pulleys and a CAI. Then go with a set of GT Takeoff exhaust or a custom made one with your choice of mufflers. The stuff that they sell pre-made is usually overpriced. You pay 3-600 bucks for a set of mufflers and pipes that an exhaust shop could build for right around 2-300 bucks.

Exhaust ,CAI,4.10 gears, chip ,that would get you started .

Don't forget to upgrade your suspension also. Stock handling performance is extremely soft.
