finally found a decent spot to take some photos and got bored so did some 'maching/roushing' to my rear with some satin rustoleum paint.

as long as that black stripe comes all the way down and you dont see any red at the bottom of the bumper its good to go.

looks really nice... hey when you painted the rear part of your bumper did you sand the old paint/clearcoat off or did you just paint over everything?

just cleaned off and painted over it. did a test piece a while back on my v6 bumper and exposed it to all elements for the past 4 months, including flexing every now and then and the rustoleum held up fine.

and i dont think you need a GT rear if youre going with a roush kit Lowflyn. the rear side pieces are just used to cover up the now useless rear exhaust cutout on GT's, if you have a v6 rear, you dont really even need them. hell if your car was black, id straight up trade you bumpers if you want a GT rear so bad, id rather have a straight up v6 rear than the ghetto looking rear roush inserts.

I have black paint that matches yours sitting here in my apartment. I will sand this one down, primer it, and paint it and send it your way...lol. I'm just going with the roush front.

how did you paint it, with spray paint? If so i wouldnt do anything else like that lol take it to a pro. Ive learned from experiences of my own that cutting corners only results in spending more money in the end if not just ruining things

That is what gave me the idea about 2 months ago. I saw a yellow 95 gt with it done and tghought it made the back bumper look a little cooler.

It's the only part of my generation's body style I'm not a big fan of.

if you rattlecan it right(light coats, lots of them) it can come out very good.

and low, im prolly not gonna do the roush kit till spring rolls around. im hoping that maybe i can save enough money in tips over the holiday busy season that maybe i can paint the whole car, since the hood is pretty dinged up, and i kinda want to make her into a 02 eleanor. well see. but nevermind on the v6 bumper. i find it funny people are asking if im a V6 with a gt rear that doesnt have GT takeoff exhaust in yet, and that im a ricer with GT badges.

Yea. '94 and '95 it was plastic or something. I've seen em decaled black.
