me vs. talon

one of my buddies was talking smack today about my mustang and how his talon was faster blah blah blah, so i chalenged him to a race on an empty street from a dead stop which he declined so we raced from 30mph roll he has a 5 speed and i have an automatic. anyway i thought that he would probably win from a roll since he has a 5 speed and probably has a weight advantage and from a roll i just lost my torque advantage over him but i beat him pretty easy i passed him up at 75 let off a 90 and had about a car lengh and a half on him. anyway it shut him up

wow thats amazing. Not that you wont but that the talon didnt break down for long enough to drive it down the road... thats freaking amazing.

haha i just thought those things were faster than that? i know the tsi s are fast but his was and esi. i still wish he would have raced from a dead stop

i had a talon, regular model (non turbo) they are nearly 17 seconds cars if NOT (autos are im sure) lol if he thinks that thing is anywhere near fast he is WAY off

the manual n/t's are lucky to hit mid 16's, the autos even worse.

wow idiots like him make the rest of the dsm world look bad. next time you see him, tell him "dsm owners around the world hate you" for me.

and spec, i thought you had a gst. man no wonder you had problems. its bad enough to gamble reliability with a 1g, even worse to do it with a 1g n/t. sad sad sad. then again i frown upon anyone looking for a 1g as a daily driver, 1g's should be the kind of car that you only get when youre looking to fully tear into it and turn it into a straight up boosted monster, have a garage with the right tools, have a wife that doesnt mind, and have something else for a daily driver. 1g's are just too old and mostly beaten upon to be bought for daily drivers. like, would you honestly buy a fox body and expect to never have any problems?

every one iv ever see is a big pile of junk, one pulled up beside me on the highway the other day and reved and attempted to take off, or loose me in a smoke screen one... not sure. It was sad and funny at the same time
