gauge selection

what do you guys think would best go with a vac-boost gauge from autometer for a dual a-pillar pod for a supercharger. i was thinking either a air/fuel gauge or a pyrometer, or both. they both do the same thing but the pyrometer is less annoying and a little more accurate. I am planning on getting the c2 gauges from autometer and the vac boost gauge and pyrometer are $160 and the air fuel gauge is like 75. so what do u guys think?

skip the air/fuel gauge unless you get a good wideband. An electric fuel pressure gauge will be much better.

the A/F gauges in cars are not very good by the time you have a problem it will be to late if you go by the gauge. Get an oil pressure and water temp since the stock ones SUCK and the oil pressure doesnt even work ... (comes to the middle at 6psi...wtf)

get electronic ONLY also

i plan on getting the c2 gauges which are all electrical. my friend had a boost gauge which was a mechanical and he went through 3 of them in about 6 months. now he's got an electrical gauge. i heard that pyrometers work better than a air/fuel gauge and are fairly easy to instal? how easy is it to install a fuel pressure gauge? just curious

I can tell ya how to do oil pressure or temp not sure on fuel pressure. They just screw into the fuel lines.

I just went with the a/f on mine cause the rest arn't realy that important either.

i just know the a/f gauges in cars dont do a very good job, basically just pretty lights. Im sure you can get some that are good not sure how much they will cost though.
