t-lok = traction lock
it delivers power to both rear wheels instead of just the rear passenger wheel like a stock v6.

If you buy a complete 8.8, it comes with a t-lok already installed from the factory if I'm not mistaken.

yes 8.8s have a T-lok in them stock. and the T-lok on sends power to your driver and pass side when you tires are spinning. so if you just cruising along at like 40 mph its not going to send any power to your drivers side tire.

well i'd say if you're not looking to spend a whole boot load of cash on ur car a t-lok on the 7.5 rearend (the one you have on right now) is fine..it'll just spin both wheels.. but if you're lookin to in for like 300+ hp you should upgrade to a 8.8 rearend..remember more wheels that turn the more power will get to the ground/ better tracktion.. ideal when its raining.. i was in a horrible accident not long ago in my uncle's v6.. it was raining and that lonley tire lost grip.. (70-75) spin crash bam bam etc..

so the 8.8 and the t-lok won't give me any power at the line or at all.

You should get a better launch with the t-lok.

generally, the rule is 3.73 for manual, 4.10 for automatics.
I'm assuming you meant 3.73 in your previous post.
