why would my car smoke?

Its done this for a long time and never really hurt anything... im just wondering what it might be. My CEL light is disabled cause of the a9l swap, so im not getting a light at all, but whenever i start the car for the first time after its sat for a while, itll give off a little smoke from down wither where my o2 sensor is on the drivers side, or where my midpipe meets the headers, I cant really tell which place for sure... but its defanitely from that area. It only happens on that side, so nothing comes fromt he passenger side. Any clue what it could be? I was thinking maybe the o2 sensor doesnt work, and it could make a little sense as I was running somewhat lean on my dyno run a while ago. Anyway... anyone have any ideas?

thought about that too, but the smokes coming from lower than the headers... its right around where the 02 sensor is and the midpipe meets the header. It doesnt really smoke bad at all, and smells like exhaust, i just want the piece of mind you know?

get under your car, and check to see if oil is running down, itll sometimes come from your valve cover, and make a small puddle down there, and burn off later
