do it! someone will buy them...
I can see it now... "These valve stems will keep air in your tires 10x as long as the average valve stem. This added life to the air in your tire will produce up to 10 horsepower over time. BUY ONE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!"

you do have to remember, that say you have some old, corroded and torn ground straps, that the kit shown will actually give you a SOTP gain, because youre getting a more proper spark, and your alternator isnt working as hard
if your grounds are all good, no change

Not to put you down on that train of thought because in theory you are correct. But in real world application that is not what they are saying. A properly maintained car will receive no advantage and the product is a pile of crapola!!!!!

Yes, if the car is maintained and in good shape, no good
i might actually make something like that for my 5.0, so i can run my grounds nice and neatly, but i wouldnt buy it when i could buy some cables, ends, and make a plate and have enough to do more than just one car

Actually the bus bar approach is no good for modern cars with computers. The fact is there is so many things that need ground the best place to ground is a closes frame member. The bus bar approach was Ok in the old days where only 6 things needed ground but not today. Airplanes and Boats still use bus bars because of their construction.

YOURE WRONG! POOPIE HEAD!
from looking over the wiring harness i have for my 5.0, it actually seems most of the stuff in the harness gets grounded right next to the EEC, right to the body, and most of the other grounds are on the harness, and ground directly to other points of the body
i was thinking of using the bus bar approach more for the engine to body grounds, because on my car, i know theres a ground that goes from the battery to the engine block, then two small ground straps from each head, then a small one from the battery to the body, and thats what i would use the bus bar setup for, mostly the engine to body/frame mounts, while keeping all the original grounds from the harness in their original locations
would that be suitable? this is one topic im not very good with

If all the bus bars were tied back to the battery with copper wire of sufficient
size, that would be preferable to using a steel frame ground for continuity. IMO
But I'm just a dumb union electrician

That is totally not true BUTTER BRAIN. The fact is there are many items that dont go thru a bus system because as RGR says they dont have a bus of sufficient size like the engine, headlights and others that carry significent amps or voltage needs. Wennie items that have very low voltage or ampere needs use the stinking bus. When you wire a upgrade stereo and amp do you use the cars central bus setup HELL NO
DAMMITTOHELL Robert This was a old ass thread.

I think now is the time to start selling my NOS stickers that instantly gain 25-50 HP when installed properly.

Some import magazine did a test on one of these systems about two years or so ago. According to the article the Newer of the two cars a 03 G35 i think gained about 4 hp while the older car i think it was a 90something 240sx gained about 10 hp to the flywheel. It's based on internal corrosion that builds up in wires after so many years.
