alright i cleared my cookies and all of that stuff, ran virus scan, spybot and adaware and firefox is still being gay. I can download videos,programs and what not perfectly fine, nice and quick. But when it comes to saving pictures it freezes my browser for about 20seconds and takes forever. Any ideas ?

yeah ok, that'll fix it. Course, then he will need to do all he said he did every 10-15 min.!
Do you have any extensions installed, and is everything up to date, sometimes extensions conflict or don't work with a newer version or whatever.

I think Firefox is overrated. I never have any problems with IE.

To each thier own, however, Tabbed browsing > all, and i love the extensions and such, I feel that firefox doesn't even compare with IE because FF is far superior IMO. As I said tho, to each thier own

I love FF... one browser open with all my webpages I go to. I have my google adsense account shown in the lower right, and my bookmarks lined up in folders right above the tabs. I can right click and validate any page on my site to make sure it meets xhtml standards and I can change the theme to better suite me

I love my firefox too. I get the weather at the top, a search bar to google, dictionary.com, isohunt, and other sites at the top, tabbed browsing, and a cool extension called Stumble! for when I'm bored.

did you update spybot? you may have some spyware that is not being detected.

im using 1.0.7
no problems.
beta versions are programs in testing.. like a demo kinda prelease. they are sometimes buggy and glitchy. most beta testers are to report problems so they can fix it.
