I have been driving my 2000 V6 around for a while with the service engine soon light on because the local Ford dealership cant fix it. I took it to them to fix three times for the same problem and they replaced the wiring harness the relays and the pcm and the light still came on. Has anyone on here experienced the same problem.
take off the negative cable for a few minutes to reset it. If the light comes on again let us know. Ford should have been able to find the codes making the light go on. I wouldn't take it back to them because they'll just keep replacing stuff you don't need to have replaced.

It had a K&N air filter on it when I bought it. One of the tech guys told me that oil may have gotten on the MAF and cause it to act up. I wasnt worried too much about it until recently when my mileage dropped to 18 mpg. But to answer your question it doesnt have any mods on it yet.
Yeh, carry your car to autozone or somewhere like that and have them read the codes for you. Write em down, and post em on here. The maf getting dirty can drop your gas mileage, and it's pretty easy to clean.
