i had my seat belt warning chime removed via ford. They hooked up their diagnostic and turned it off. I ALWAYS use my seatbelt (you would have to be very retarded to do otherwise) but its very annoying... see if ford will do it for you.

Uh...to turn off the seat belt warning, there's a step by step process in the owner's manual. Not hard at all to do..stupid brandon and the ford dealer.

To disable the setbelt chime ( beltminder ) The directions were in my owners manual. Look for beltminder.

That one my friend will be harder to disable...it should only do it when you have your keys in the ignition however.

In earlier cars it was all seperate. In the 05/06 mustangs, it's all built into the ecu to be honest. My old car...I pulled the little part out, threw it in the front yard, and ran it over with the lawn mower, wish it was that easy with the new cars lol.

Heck I like it for only one reason. When my friends want to get in the ride and chance me getting pulled over (for having no seatbelt, they can pull u for that in Arizona) and I get the ticket and higher insurance cause there butts cant remember. Nope
I dont mind it cause when ever it goes off it means someone needs to buckle up!

I love the seat belt warning thing too.. it makes you get in the habbit of putting on your seatbelt when driving even if your not in your car!
