belt squeeking

Now that its cold my belts being a little bitch and squeels all to hell. I got some of that sticky shit that you spray on the belt, and it worked for a bit but now its just starting to gunk up and doesnt help at all. The belt is really tight on there, tighter than normal cause I went with a smaller size (was having problems with the belt slipping off the tensioner)

Any ideas?

is there any play in your tensioner? theyll squeek

no play... its defanitely coming from the contact between the belt and pulleys cause when i spray the belt dressing on the belt, itll go away momentarily.

Sometimes when the belt is a little smaller then the size its supposed to be it'll squeek.

if the belt is even a millimeter lose it'll squeak. put a bar on the tensioner and tighten it

its not loose dammit!! the reason i put this new belt on is because the old one WAS loose and would fall off.

THE BELT IS VERY TIGHT... so tight it took prying it over another pully to get the stupid thing on.

it might be too tight, but the tensioner still puts pressure on it, so there could actually be a smaller belt on there.
