Yep...totalled the car on my drive back to RIT after thanksgiving break.
81 was busy as **** and there were accidents everywhere...I ended up in the back of a ~10 car pile-up. Apparantly there was already a few-car accident in the left of 2 lanes, and a few people slowed/stopped to avoid it, and that progressed to people slamming on their brakes...which ended up with me slamming into the back of an SUV.
Front end is smashed in...basically the overflow bottle is barely touching the motor..thats how far the radiator got pushed/crushed. Both airbags blew as well.
Talking to insurance tomorrow but expecting the car to be totalled and since I don't have collision(I pay my own insurance, and can only afford comprehensive on my income) I will towed the car myself back to NJ to part it out completely and salvage what's left.
so look in the for sale forum if you need any parts.
