I know the A trims & paxton novi 1000's are 5-6 psi & strims are 8-10 but with a pulley change all that can change.

according to vortech the maximium the s trims should take is 20 at most. FYI: the procharger equivilant to that head unit takes up to 30 psi.

I highly doubt a P1SC is going to hit 30 psi. heck, 15 psi is probably the max for that as well.

well i have seen a S-trim do 17psi. and i have seen a P1sc do 19psi. you all gotta remember boost is a measurement of restriction. soo it all depends on the engine.
also both examples above where on built 4.6L DOHC engines. soo you know those things move alot of Air.

You should be able to make at least 20 psi with an s-trim. When I was running an s-trim with an 8" crank and 3.33 on the blower I was seeing 18 psi.

I am currently running 18 psi on my S-trim and it is almost maxed out so I can easily say that the S-trim will support 19 psi or so... I have seen the P1SC tap out exactly at around the same psi as they are very similar blowers...

Sweet! I guess there is no need to get a T trim then. I wonder why on project ice box, they switched to a t trim? I am sure i will be fine with a s trim. Thanks for the help team.

The T trim will support up to 26 or so PSI and will take a full power cobra with a built motor well into the 9's in the 1/4 mile...
If you are interested in buying a customized S-Trim with race bypass, powerpipe, and 8 rib drive setup please PM me and I will give you a deal that would be hard to resist. Here is a pic of my setup:

You shouldn't really look at "max boost". You should be more concerned about blower efficiency. This is why the yswitched. A t-trim is much more effecient and will make better power across the power band. The boost comes on sooner with a t and is more consistent at lower rpm's where as an s -trim would have to be spun like crazy and would make the same low/mid range power. 18psi on an s-trim and 18 psi on a ysi or t-trim are not necessarly the same.

They begin to get heat soaked at boost pressures past 14 psi but having them ported increases the efficiency enough to allow them to be boosted upwards of 18 psi or so...

I do not own a shop but I do all my own work. The blower is mine and it's about to be removed in favor of a custom GT4280 turbo setup I'm currently working on.
Please PM me for a price on the blower...

I went with the T trim on my Steeda from the S trim huge improvement I dropped from 17-18 to 12-14. I also noticed an improvement in power because theS/C is not working as hard. It is alot louder than the S, but I like it.
