I wouldnt go any bigger. Those are the correct size. Some people put 245/45/17 on front and 275/40/17 on back but if you do that you will not be able to rotate your tires correctly.

yeah like brent said, 275 is the biggest you want to go on an 8" wide wheel. 265 or 255 would most likely look best though.

id go with a 275/40 on the rears, no u cant rotate them but it looks cool and plent of dry traction.

If its traction you need, just get some nitto's for the rear and youll be all set.

stay with what you have, you can upgrade rims and go wider, but just enjoy the cheaper tiers for now. you could always just buy larger rims out back and stagger the sizes, i wouldnt put any larger than a 245 up front if i staggered the sizes anyway.

why not go smaller on the front , stopping and turning is reduced but take off helps. ran a 205/65 on the front of my 88's 10holes and now the draglites on the 90 have a 165 lol. id like to go with a 15x5 or so upfront though for street driving.

you fit the tire to the rim, if you go to narrow it looks like garbage, if you go to wide it looks tacky and can be dangerous(as well as to small can be) I just go for the right size~
