Now I am stuck. I have a 2000 V6. When I took off the upper intake yesterday, I stripped a bolt hole on the lower intake where the uppper intake fastening bolt goes in. Although I managed to put the upper intake back, there is one bolt (long bolt and close to the firewall on the driver side) that I have no way to tighten due to the stripped hole. The upper intake has no leaking whatsoever right now. But the loose bolt really concerns me.

Now what do I do? Just leave it there? Anyone know how to fix it? Shold I make a larger hole and use a larger bolt to replace the stock bolt?

Can you restore enough threads by cleaning it out with a tap?

Yea clean it with a tap, if that doesn't work try retapping it with the next size up.

I've actually done this, and used a 1/4-20 when I converted
Kirk's intake to a post-deleted upper. If that hole is so bad that
1/4" will not work, go 5/16" and that will work for sure. Those
taps and bolts are cheap too, lots less than metrics.
