stock head unit lights staying on??

This just started about a week ago. I have not touched any wireing or changed anything with the stereo ever. The only thing that may have coincided with this was the replacement of my oil pan at a shop.

This a 2002 mustang with the basic single disc stereo. The problem is that the RR and FWD buttons are an orange-ish color (instead of green), and stay on all the time. Even when the car is off and the keys are out of the ignition these 2 buttons stay lit.. What could be the problem?

Hm...I know on convertibles with the stock hu, when you lower or raise the top you can listen to the radio lol. Or something like that. But hm...I dunno.

Try checking all the wiring under the driver's side dash. Sometimes if you're having your car worked on and the people arn't very careful they can loosen/break/tear/mess up electrical connections/wires. I had something like that happen to me once, but luckily it was just a disconnected plug...?

It could be a short...
