im done with my six, time for an 8

I love my 6, but I am not getting anywhere with it, Im gonna be in buying mood in a couple of months, just gotta watch my insurance, i pay about 230 a month with a 6, but then again it hasnt been paid off yet....it will be in a couple of months and my credit will be better also..Ill have about 4k at the end of summer, and probably going to be saving til the summer after that and have about 10k but i know i will be getting an 8 the next time out.... Im actually thinking about buying my parents 01 cobra, but looking around still also, who knows maybe ll just save for the newer gts, but wont mind getting an 01-04. What should i get a gt,roush,cobra......let me know what you think, and ill tell you what im gonna get, and i will also take some pics of the cars im looking at right now. l8az...

cool, but dont hurt a gt by making it look like a 6er, thats just wrong. thatd be like buying a corvette and making it look like a cobalt. let em know its a gt. and have fun with insurance on 2 mustangs. the gt's insurance is going to rape enough, you better hope you get some dam good payments to make up for it.

i wouldnt waste my time on a GT, get a 03-04 cobra, maybe an older cobra, or mach 1, or dont do anything.

GT's are a dime a dozen, a nice clean sleeper looking one would be cool.

please, 99-04 black on black AND a 5spd was hard to find. took me 2 years to find it.

alright i have decided, on a 99+ GT or a 2001 SVT Cobra, which used to be my moms cobra before she traded in for the 03 cobra...

get the cobra and have your parents name on it for the insurance to keep the cost down.

I will have enough money to pay for it in whole, so i wont need them to keep the insurance, i would put the min on it and drive be careful.... the cobra or gt would NEVER see winter....and maybe rain, i havent quiet decided on that yet

If youre looking at an 01 cobra... look at the 96-98's. They have the same engine with just some different heads/intakes. The 96-98s are still DOHC 32v motors and come stock at 305hp. That will be much nicer on your insurance buying a 10 year old car rather than a 5 year old one.

eh if i were to go n/a and wanted a 94-98 body style, id just start out with a 94-95 5.0. cheaper aftermarket, easy to mod, a very capible platform, even easier on the insurance. look at zim, he got a great setup and all those mods didnt cost much yet put out about as much as a stock 01 slobra for half the price.

but if youre like me, the 99-04 style is just so sexeh. then yeah, for a n/a buildup then a 01 might be up your alley.
