What all does building a 2.8 stroker involve, i know its a crank, rods, and pistons, but does the displacement also include the overbore of the cylinders? Also, does the bottom end of the block need to be clearanced to accomodate the longer crank throw? Say someone were to build a similar setup for a street car, a 2.8 street engine, what would be the overall cost of the shortblock roughly?
My TC needs a rebuild, and if im doing a shortblock, id like to research and explore some options.
