A rear sway bar will make a huge difference. I have the bullitt suspension kit from rdmotorsport.com, along with subframe connectors, and I have control I never thought I would before. Ran an autocross yesterday, and kept up with cars I never thought I would.

find a 99-04 GT rear sway bar at a junk yard or on ebay, they work really nice. I would upgrade the springs to ford C springs unless you want more than a 1.1 inch drop~ the drop for optimal handeling is 1.25 inches all around~
Ford C springs are 650lbs front and 300~ rear (eibachs are usually softer than this, some not some are so be leary) and the C springs run 100 bucks.

If you get C Springs you will probably want to go ahead and count on needing c/c plates. Some do, some don't. I did after C Springs.
Rear sway bars (all that I have experience with) are amazing and I would have never thought they would make the kind of difference that they did.

generally the heavier/thicker/stronger it is, the better.

The sway bar on the front should be thicker/heavier/stronger than the one on the rear.
Otherwise you could wind up with unwanted handling problems . . . or death!
All best,
Joe

This suspension set up is awesome! The difference is amazing! The car is so much more stable and sure-footed in the corners.
The lesson here is make sure the component upgrades you do with your suspension compliment each other, and don't make it worse. Also, you'll get the best results by doing it all right up front. In other words, save up to upgrade your shocks/struts that will compliment your new lowering springs. And make sure the rear sway bar you get will compliment the front sway bar. If not, you'll get under- or over-steer issues that will make the handling worse than stock.

I've got GT bars, front and back, C springs w/half a coil off, Mach 1/Tokico struts and shocks and 18X9 rims with suitable rubber on my "98." She turns wicked fast and flat and is as stable as a rock.

Installation of a rear swaybar isn't bad. I jacked up my car and pulled off the rear wheels to do mine, just easier access for an air rachet. 4 bolts and 4 nuts and you're done.

check this out, all is stock on my 04 V6, I purchased a steeda heavy duty rear swaybar from stangsuspension.com
Is this going to help my handeling or hurt, what I mean is do I now need a new front sway bar?
Or will the steada rear be fine?

It will definitely help you, but it won't hurt to beef up the rest of your suspension later if you want to go that way.

thanks lowflyn I definately want to do shocks and springs and all the rest but im working on a budget so slowly does it.
But I ask if it will hurt as 1998stang mentioned if the rear is heavier then the front it will unbalnce "death" ( read up on top ) that scares me,
SO thats why im asking if i use the heavy duty steeda rear sway bar with the stock front is it safe, if any one knows?

I don't believe there's much difference in most rear sways you buy. As long as the diameter of it is less than the front I really wouldn't worry too bad, unless you are serious into handling on your car. About the only way you'll notice it making that big of a dif is if you're really pushing the limits of your car, as far as negatively effecting the handling.

yeah, unless you're drivin like a tool, it won't be that much of a problem. When you get a front sway bar, if you do, I would suggest definitely getting bigger than the rear. But I'm only running w/ a rear one at the moment, and all I've seen is a massive increase in handling.

Your car has a front swaybar already.
