new personal best thanks to a 60' that didn't completely suck. i still think i can do better.

R/T: 1.206 (sloowww)
60': 2.290
330: 6.950
1/8: 10.123
MPH: 69.68
1000: 13.145
1/4: 15.685
MPH: 90.99

i'm gonna get my 60' lower so i can pull possibly a 15.4, but they made us all go through the water box which sucked for my tires.

They shouldn't make you go through the water box, I'd avoid it neways. Don't wanna go through radials like that.

not bad.

my best in my 6 is 15.4 @ 89.9 with a 2.40 60' time.

we both have the mph to break into the 14's, just don't have the traction.

I have always heard that every tenth you can shave off your 60' time is worth 2 tenths in the 1/4 et.

so if it would be possible to cut a 2.0 or 2.1 60' time, we'd be in the 14's. but from my experience, that's damn hard without drag radials or slicks.

you mean possible?

I agree that it's possible... but much more probable on some 15" stock v6 rims with some street tires.

my 17x9 chrome BBS rims don't help much when launching at the track.

tires will really help you. The best I could ever do with street tires is a 2.1 60'. With drag radials it dropped to a 1.8

using drag slicks or even drag radials for that matter is one of the best things you can do to take time off of your et. it even works well on N/A vehicles but the gains are really noticed on blown vehicles. a good set of slicks like nitto or micky thompson tires should take off .4-.5 off your quarter et. you just have to make sure you heat up the slicks before you go down the track. i almost forgot to do that once last summer. my friend has it on his video phone of me about to pull up to the line without burninng out and then backing up to heat them up. it was funny.

drag radials really help alot. I lauch at 5k rpms & it just launches. I took off .5tenths with gears & .2tenths with the nittos.
