Hey guys. I drive a 95 GT. I want to lower my car with the Eibach pro kit. I also want to run 275/40/17 tires all the way around, atleast for now.Eventually when im making some power i would like to run 275 up front and 315's out back. I was wondering if anyone is running this combo now and could let me know if or how much do the front tires rub when turning? Thanks

Eibach will SLAM your car.
Think twice.
Shouldn't have a problem with rubbing, except maybe at full lock on an incline.

i have the same setup and the only time it rubs is when i'm at full lock. Just don't get 18's if you get the eibach setup though and that wide of a tire in the front. if you do it will definetely rub, or you would have to cut some fender off. i guess you could think of it as dead weight though.  |

The pro kit will drop the car 1.5 inches all the way around. The sport line is what slams it. I have some friends that have both and the pro kit is the way to go. It even rides nice. I definately dont want 18's though. I want the FR500 black with polished lip in 17x9 for the front and 17x10.5 for the rears. |

I have the pro kit and I rub when I turn right. 1.8" drop in front with just the Pro kit on my 96 |

you can fix the rub with steering rack limiters which cost about 10 bucks |

it will be drivable, you will find the steering limit, its not really bad. I would NOT suggest going over 1.5 inches. I also would NOT suggest eibach, I would get H&R springs they are better rate springs (for better handling) and are all around better from my experiences. All suspension stuff from maximummotorsports.com is top notch.

My 94 has 18's with 285/35's up front and 295/35's out back. I rub both front and back. Mainly in the front its when I hit a hard bump, it rubs on the fender liner and on really hard bumps the tires will hit the rim of the fender (only cuz i have a pretty big tire up front)
In the rear it rubs on the outside of the fender when im on uneven surfaces and the tire gets pushed up into the wheel well, but thast it. A fender roller would solve that.
I have H&R supersports and dropped it probably a lil more than 2 inches total. i didnt use any front isolators in my drop and only used 1 in the rear, so that probably has something to do with it. Its defanitely drivable, you just hear the scraping here and there...
