I just got finished installing a MGW shifter on my LX today. I think I'm gonna like it, but I'm not quite used to it yet. I had a Pro 5.0 (the springs were messed up) which had a much shorter handle. But even though the MGW handle is longer, it still seems to have just as short of a shift as the Pro 5.0.
I think once I get used to the taller handle, I'll like it more than the Pro 5.0 but it's still kind of up in the air for now as to which I like more. One bad thing about the MGW is my elbow hits my center console when I hit 4th gear. I'm going to mess with the way the handle is turned (you can pivot it on the shifter to suit your tastes and then clamp it in place), which will hopefully take care of this problem.
Some pros of the MGW: it's quiet, comes with everything you need to install it (including a tube of RTV), and looks really nice (I hated to put the boot over it).
Just thought I'd post this little review in case anyone else was considering this shifter. I'll update this once I get a litte more comfortable with the taller handle and do some adjusting on the pivot of the handle.
