krylon fusion is a spraypaint used mainly on ceramic, wood and plastic outdoor surfaces..........it dries to the touch in 15min and has a rather glossy finish. it also now comes in a latex version (krylon h20), but i would go for the oil as it will dry harder and have a more durable finish.
i dunno how it looks on the interior of our cars, but it should work, as it is just plastic you are spraying over. the only issue that i would worry about is temp.....i dont really know how it holds up under extreme temps (windows up in your car in the summer) but seeing as that its an oil based spraypaint goin on plastic, i really dont think you should have a problem.
we sell this product where i work, so if you have any more questions, let me know

Never used it on my interior, but used it on my rear bumper and it went on very smooth.

like any other paint, its all about how well you prep the surface.
scuff it up with some brillo pad and rubbing alcohol, then high build primer, sand, then spray.
youre not planning on going ricer on us are you?

I used the gloss black on my inner wheel well plastics on the red bird, i hardly prepped the surface, and the paint still stuck very well. Also used it on the gas tank, since it has that plastic cover on the bottom.

It says on the can and on the Krylon web site specifically not to scuff or prep the plastic other than clean the plastic.
No not going ricer. I am going to paint the door speaker grills black and door latch cups. Just wondering if I want to go with Gloss or Satin

On some of my interior parts I just used the Dupli-Color that matches my exterior, & clear coated them. No sanding just cleaned well & alcohol final clean. Still doing fine after several years of daily use.

Yeah, do not scratch or scuff the surface with that stuff. It sticks much better to a clean smooth surface. It bonds chemically.
I've never personally used it, but up until this thread all I'd heard was good things about it.

So once again I ask which should I use Gloss or Satin ???????
This is why I ask. This is my thinking. Since it is not a smooth surface but textured the Gloss wont shine as much and be like I always had protectant on it like Armour All, but I am not sure. I know we have people here who have painted the interior parts so speak up.

I've only painted mine with actual paint that would need a clear, but may have to look into this, if they have an "aluminum" color

I used Krylon Rust-O-Leum Metallics so I don't know about that. I'd use Gloss tho.

you will need to sand the peices smooth else it will look grainy, get them painted at a shop if you want to not cut corners and do it right. Spray paint can work good... but its never going to be as good as a professional shop.

Corey,
I will have to get & post pics of mine for you.
If you are not going to put a clear over then I would use gloss not satin.
