Ok, I've decided my next mod is gonna be 4.10's and a t-lok. My question is, what brand should I be looking for? Most of what I've seen is motive and ford racing, just wondering what experiences ppl have had with these two types of gears. It's gonna be several months before I get the money up for this, probably early summer...but maybe before the race in georgia.

I had FRPP 4.10s in my 6cyl With an Aubrun Posi unit. I only had about 500 miles on it when i got hit, but for that time i had no whine or anything, and made the car a blast to drive. especially with the shift kit and the chip

Nah, I'll probably stay with the 7.5 unless I come across a good deal on a 8.8.

My exboss said that Yukon makes a good set of gears, I dunno what their prices are compared to FRPP or Motive though.

go with ford gears, not richmond (whine due to design) and not motive, oem ford. I would recommend upgrading to an 8.8 simply because its nearly as cheap (gear swap = 700 bucks~ unless you cut corners and do it cheap/wrong)
