the v6 (pre 05) and 5.0s are very very close.

Ill be honest with you i dont know.. i do think there very close but i think the difference is the input shaft

^it should. for manuals at least, cuz websites always list the 5.0 and v6 aluminum ds' as one item

i dont think the bell will its going to be to wide. You have to use your bell i do believe.

to wide for what, the tranny tunnel? Thats not possible, but perhaps for the tranny/engine mount. I believe they are the same, why would ford redesign something when they didnt have to... but you never know
