what size tranny cooler

hey guys i went to kragen and asked for their tranny coolers and they had about three sizes.. small medium and large. which one is best for my aode

what brand? I assume the largest or at least medium would be good~

You have to be aware of what type of Tranny Cooler as well as the size. I have a Hayden flat plate tranny cooler in my 97 T-Bird. It is for 14,000 GVW. It's small, but keeps my 4R70W cold! If you are really worried about heat get a medium sized cooler, but the flat plate ones are the most efficient.

Oh, I have my cooler mounted in the space UNDER the battery, not in front of my radiator.

could i put it anywhere in the engine bay?? so whatss best for my car? i just want it cool so it'll last cuz my foot gets kinda heavy after like 5 minz of driving.. hehe

I have a 97 T-Bird. The air from the under bumper scoop also goes under the areas in front of both front tires. On the passenger side, Ford put the "Air Silencer" for the intake. I removed that. On the other side was nothing. That is where I put my cooler. I think the same would work on your Mustang.

Most mount it in front of the radiator. Here is a pic of mine

isnt it every 20 degrees colder makes the tranny last twice as long
