129.99 for 18" rims? A deal or garbage?

Mustangtuning.com has a bunch of 18" rims on their site that look really nice and only cost between $130-$200 each. I particularly like the black ones. My question is, why do these rims only cost a few hundred dollars when other rims can cost thousands? Are these rims garbage? Are they plastic? Are they well made? Or do they just cost less because they aren't layered with 10 inches of chrome and they don't spin or light up? Also, is there anything else I should know about them? Thanks.

nah homie. they're cheap because sometimes they have overstock and just need to get rid of excess rimz.. i bought my speedstars from there 18x9-18x10 i also previously purchased bullets there black 17x9 17x10.5 and all these rims are in impecable condition. also these rims are cheap because they're not OE (original equipment) dont get me wrong the're still very strong and have the same specs as the originals but the fact that they're replicas hurt their price a bit.. to me atleast, why in the hell would i want to spend $300 on an OE wheel from saleen, when i can get it for 150? and they look just the same! some people are obsessed with OE.. not me tho, as long as it looks good im in.. haha

oem ford rims in 18s, non chrome are 300 each, if they are cheaper than oem ford then they are probably to cheap, ford is usually very cheap. The sivler finish are 200 for FR500s at www.gefracing.com

haha... thanks, but I knew that. Still, 129.99x4 ($520.00) is really cheap for 4 18" rims.

also non OEM ford rims need to be checked for their backspacing and offset... they may look retarded on the car or may not even clear the brakes .... so check that out.

Those rims at mustangtuning are fine. They have free shipping there too so take advantage of that. The wheels they sell there are the same kind that I have, and I havnt had any problems yet. Theyre cheap because theyre replica brands, its worthless to buy OE stuff since its the same thing and looks worse (IMO). Those wheels will be fine

I really like the FR500 anthracite rims on that site (sold out until March, dammit). However, I'm looking at the 18" pair. Do I need to do any mods to fit them on my car (i have the stock 16" rims), or can 18" rims fit on a mustang that has an otherwise stock suspension?
