I was looking at some spacers that allow 6X9's to be mounted on the rear shelf. Has anyone done this. The reason is I use the hell out of my trunk and dont want to mount a sub. 6X9's offer very good bass with amp.
Dont go getting cocky with me!!!!
I was just messing with you or the smileys would not be there. So if you must know I just found them myself!!! That is why I am asking the question!!! If I was really smart I would have not needed to ask the question and would just known the answer by using my mega brain power!!!
Nothing to them. My old car came with 4x10's in the deck and I put 6x9 spacers on it, worked like a charm. You'll need to take off your rear package shelf cover, then take off your old speakers. Bolt on the spacers, bolt speakers in, hook them up and put it all back together.

Eh...I dunno. It'd probably run about the same either way after tacking the shipping on from ebay. Just a matter of whether or not your local audio shop has them in stock and such.

the older v6's dont really have anything back there but the speakers.... so you wont have to worry. If you dont have the mach system that is...
