Hey all... just found the board. I've been quite active on a few others since I brought my 05 redfire home in January of '05, exactly one month after my father passed away. He's ridin' with me in spirit.
I've owned 3 cars in my driving lifetime. Two have been Mustangs. My first was a candy apple red '68 coupe which I bought a week before I actually had my license (I graduated from high school in '91 to give ya a time frame). I still miss that car, even though it seemed to break down every other weekend. She wasn't fast, but after some work, she sure was purty!
Now, I'm lovin' my 05! And, it's the first car that I've done any type of performance mods too. It is a blast!
I've never been to a track, so I'm looking forward to taking it to the late night drags at Portland International Raceway or the Woodburn dragstrip this spring.
Here's a few bits to look at... the old '68, the new '05 and a viddy of me testing out my new Auburn limited slip (a few revs and a take-off, it's a good exhaust clip too).
