Yep, im going to slowly start building a 351W so I can have the engine ready by the time this one finally decides to go, its still running very strong and im definately still supercharging my car, but I thought it would be a good idea. Just want some help with an engine stand, would I be able to use this to put the 351W block on? Im 90% sure I can but I just want to definately make sure before I buy it... thanks! Oh and what is my stock compression ratio? 9.5:1? or lower?

that stand will be fine, i think ur about right with the compression ratio. Keep in mind with a 351, if u have emissions and they do a visiual you will fail most likely (atleast here in MD) and look for a 93-97 351 since they are roller motors.

you going carb or fuel injected? since its always nice down there Id just go carbed...alot easier to tune and what not. looks cleaner in the engine bay to. Buy a set of convertible mustang motor mounts, stronger then coupe/hatches and sit the motor about 3/4" lower and then you should have plenty of clearance between that and your hood. still depends on what manifold, carb, air cleaner you run to if you go carbed.

Dont even worry about stock compression ratios, since youre building a fresh engine, make it all what you want. Want 10:1 for an N/A application, nows the time to do it. 8.5:1 for a blower/turbo...nows the time.

Yeah.. I dont want to blower it... it'll be a while until I start because I have to get new tires... their bald.. haha.. but wouldn't I be able to just rebuild the engine I have now and go carb with it? If thats a possibility I could do it over the next summer but I think it'll kind of be a bitch.

Yeah, I wouldn't carb it unless it's no longer going to be driven daily. With EFI, you don't have to worry about adjusting the tune for different temperatures, humidities, etc. Now if it's going to be a weekend warrior/drag car and you know how to tune a carb, go for it.
Just remember, there's a reason all new cars come with EFI over carbs (and it's not just emissions).

You made some real good points man... im gonna have to think about it now.. its still going to be daily driven, and I dont know the first thing about tuning a carb... but my friend aaron... holy shit... he knows every single fucking thing about a carbed engine... him and his family are nothing but race car freaks... his dad raced his whole life... and wow, it amazes me how much he knows.. hes building a 700HP 460 road runner right now... its running hes just got to adjust some more stuff and its off to the track... the other day he was doing his timing and it was advanced to much and he has cherry bombs on it and I was standing next to his car.. when it backfired it literally hurt my face.. so loud.. ill get some pics for you guys when I get a chance. ill also get pics of my friends 69 camaro... IMMACULANT condition.
