275.40.17 on 17x8, bad for autocross?

i know a 275 fits on a 17x8, but wondered if the bulge is too much, and if it would pop off the rim while autocrossing on it at a low psi.

it will fit but its the limit, i dont think i would do it personally if you are gonna be pushing those tires hard around corners, dont want to pop a beed and the tire come off the rime Plus you get more flex, a 245 might do better.

id stick with 245-255's up front, out back a 275 would be ok

EDIT* scratch that only 1 of them isn't too big..anyhow you get the idea. its not a huge bulge, but i think it would flex a little more than you would want to as far as autocrossing.
