It's amazing how the car still manages to look menacing despite the busted up grill. Reminds me of a UFC fighter after a good three round match.
BTW, I went back and looked at that Silver 04 today, and it has some issues. It's been in some sort of an accident, evident by a horrible touch-up job around the snake emblem on the driver-side fender and a deformed inner fender liner. Not to mention the ugly-ass Flowmaster tips spray-painted black w/ the paint melting off. Surely they can't be asking too much... |

heh mine came disabled from the factory. too bad it didnt come with the balls option, when i lose control i dont have the balls to do anything, so i just sit there and grumble.

Oh god poor Cobra, its in stable condition now, just make sure it gets enough to eat and drink and the recovery should go smooth. Speedy recovery.

I took it for an estimate today... its going to cost right at 4 grand to fix it. They are going to have to paint the parts on the car to ensure the correct color match (stupid 3 stage paint) and.... I REALLY dont like painting stuff on the car.... they know how extremly OCD I am and they take the extra precautions, but Im gonna drill it home how important it is that that engine gets NO overspray as well as anything else on the car.
It should be back in three weeks... and hopefully better than it was.... I am upset but... its how things go.... they are going to have to repaint the entire front end due to color matching, they are the best ive ever seen and it will look perfect or they said they will redo it.

they are going to have to go the extra mile in preparation before they spray the car so overspray wont get on the engine or what not.
Yea... I am expecting the insurance company to try to fight for the amount of the bill since the people had JUST TAKEN out their policy the DAY before this happend.
Its going to cost 4k to do it right.... so thats whats going to be done, nor am I excepting used parts... it will just depreciate my car and I am not letting that happen.

Damn man, looking at that I don't see how he didn't realize he was backing into a car, looks like he should have realized it, but kept backing up.
That really sucks about painting on the car, I hope it all comes out alright.

I didnt read any of the thread, but I come back on ME.com and see this, I will search to find out what happened but I'm sorry man. It seems like insurance will cover it. Just make sure they don't fuck up color matching. I think redfire is a multi stage paint.
