and proud of it!
As most of you know, I have modded V6's since around 1997,
but I have never owned a V6 Mustang... until now!
Got the "project" for $1K and got it down here yesterday,
it's a 95- 5 speed with lots of mods including a blown HG!
1995 V6, bone stock internal engine...
External performance mods are as follows:
Pacesetter crossover, true duals, 2.25"
MAC stainless muffs
3.73's, T-Lok, 7.5" rear
MAC Cold Air Intake
The prior owner (my friend, PilotMulvs) ran a 15.4 in this setup,
it's mostly cuz he is a great driver at the track! The reason I'm
getting this for a great price is that I've known Pilot since 1998
and he is buds with my son also, who is now 17 and needs a car
Here's the complete and impressive mods list:
1995 3.8L v6 5 speed Bright Blue (only 7819 in this color nothing but complements on the color and it always and i mean always looks clean). 140,XXX miles.
Clutch is only 35,000 miles old.
Just installed New radiator plus hoses, Battery probably only has 100 miles on it.
MODS
Performance
Pacesetter X pipe, 2.25 pipes out the back true dual. Mac stainless steel mufflers. (Rust on tail pipe after the muffler so it sounds fine. )
Lowered with EIBACH (not sure how to spell it).
3.73 with TLOK. Probably only has 30,000 miles on it. IF that. Was done about 1.5 years ago and was purchased new from FMS.
Factory Five upper and lower control arms. (These things are beasts makes the ride a little bit noisy but grips the ground like a monster)
Under drive Pulley
Mac COLD AIR intake it has signs of rust. Probably can scrub right off. I haven't cleaned the engine bay in awhile.
Yellow Strut Tower Brace.
Cobra Rs with the real R center caps. The rims need some work but remember these are the Real R caps. 275x40 nitto 555s in the rear. Some cheapo Kumos up front if I recall. The ones up front are 255x45 I think.
That's all I can think of performance wise. Did I forget anything?
The car hooks and pulls like crazy. My 60 foot times were crazy.
Other Mods
V6 spoiler (the one with the bar in the middle)
96-98 Tail lights with the sequential hook up. Works great. I love that mod and will prob buy with my next one.
Decals on the doors and 232 on the hoods.
Euro Marker lights
Mesh grill insert all up front in fog light holes etc...
Inside I have:
White Face gauges Indigo
Shift light mounted on the steering column
white insert on the clock
Pillar pod with air/fuel and boost autometers phantoms (white faces)
Cool racing pedals
I'm sure there is more stuff I just cant think of.
-Pilot

Thanks Kirk!
You can't really see the car for the 3 dudes in the way, but
that is Tony and myself (from left) and Jon Mulvey, PilotMulvs,
who sold us the car. We've known him since 98 and met in 99
when he came down here to my place for the first ever V6Power
meet. He let Tony ride in his car to and from the strip when he
(Tony) was only 11 y.o.
Thanks everyone for the encouragement, we will get it running soon
and probably if the 3.8 has good pistons, we will BV the heads, cam it,
and heavily port the intakes. I have an extra-short runner upper 1/2
done that will support a 65 MM TB and runner lengths will match a BIG
cam (for a 3.8) so expect some good numbers for an NA stock shortblock...
It will also have as much compression as I can get w/o new pistons.
