Okay for starters about a week or so ago I painted my stock grill. Here's the pics.
Stock:
Taped off and primerd:
Painted with first and only coat of sonicblue(ran out of it):
Now painted satin black with billit grill reinstalled:
Interior repainted:
Before I repainted it:
Now painted with my custom imprent. Its an oval with edge inside. The oval represents ford and the edge obviously for the model of my truck.
This was the original designe, but decided I didn't like it:
Now what it currently looks like:
The bezel which i'll have to respray as well as sand down. Didn't have enough time for it though. Already has some scraches...opps.
Anyway let me know what you think about it.

Thanks man. The grill is hard to tell in pics, but in person it definately stands out and gives my billit grill some contrast.

i think the interior stuff looked better color matched to the car. and i can tell with one of the pieces, there mustve been some dust on it before paint cause you have some dimples.
the grill looks better though, its a darker black than just the black plastic alone.

Actually it wasn't color matched from the begining and there were little bits of wood in the blue paint I just didn't have time to sand it down. I'm planing on doing that though at some point. I liked the blue however I wanted to go back to stock kinda. Also the stock grill was grey and not black. It was a fairly dark, but pale grey. I almost didn't put my billit grill back on because I liked the black. However from previous things i've done to the grill I have to keep the billit on.

i like the blue on the inside, other than that i guess you'd have to see it in person.

Timpryor: That's why I painted it black. I wanted to take it back to stock.

as a rule of thumb if someone that does not know the truck really good looks at it and asks you if X part is aftermarket, youve went to far.
