Transmission Swap

Hey this is a dumb question and i dont plan on doing this but just for information sake, how much would it cost to swap a automatic tranny into my 1999 V6 with it being manual now, just a general figure would be good thanks.

first time hearing a manual swap to auto, with the amount of people looking to swap their auto for manual. you might actually be able to find someone willing to swap with you. i think the altogether price for everything would prolly be around 1000-1500.. est. from a friend of mine. Cant really say for sure. depends on if you wanna swap for a used auto tranny, also plan on getting a transmission cooler and either flash, or get a custom chip to help change from manual to auto and to firm up shift points.

i think thats all, excuse me if im wrong, but this is just to my knowledge.

Assuming your transmission doesn't have too many miles on it, if you wanna drive down to Indy and pay for the labor, I'll gladly trade you my automatic transmission (~50,000 miles on it from my 2002 V6).

I really don't know what goes into the swap, but I'll bet a local shop could do it.
